If you're experimenting with color palates, you need to check this website out. Basically, it's a repository with thousands of user-submitted color palettes that are tagged with keywords.
So, typing in "clouds" gets you stormy, serene or muted colors.
It's also integrated into CS4 and 5. Go to Window-> extensions -> Kuler to check it out.
